Shadow and light with 2D sprite in 3D world

Hi everybody !
Iā€™m a little noob with unity lightning effect and other and I have some trouble with that :confused:

I would like to know if there is a possibility to make a system with light and shadows for 2D sprite in 3D world ?

Some object of my project are just simple sprite image, but I want to put a light behind to make shadows :confused:

Yes this is possible and several projects have done this. There are also some assets in the store that go into detail on how to accomplish this and the difficulties of what is involved.
