SO, I am developing a game called Unity Adventures.
What I want to do is to use a 3D model of the Unity logo as the main protagonist (modelling will be done by me).
I will definitely use the lines like -
“Unity, the Unity logo and all that are registered trademarks of Unity Technologies API”.
Basically I will be using the full logo on the title screen.
I just wanted to know whether I can use the logo with the above Copyright statement or will I have to ask Unity for it?
Thanks for all the help.
Not possible. You are allowed to animate the logo. I’ve never heard of anyone getting permission to do this. Check out more details here.

Thanks for the link. That pretty much re-ensures me that I can’t use the logo without asking Unity. And they won’t let me, of course.
AH SHIT, SO basically I will now have to use another protagonist.

I beleive this is a no.
Unity logo belongs to Unity, and is trademarked.
You need to contact their legal department and seek permission. I’d expect you not to get that permission.
Yeah, thanks for all your help guys.

Discover the best assets for game making. Choose from our massive catalog of 2D, 3D models, SDKs, templates, and tools to speed up your game development process.
That’s coz it’s published by Unity Technologies. It’s their official thing and they are free to use their logo.
Anyways, I am out with a new protagonist and I am currently drawing it! Thanks for all the help again!
Just make it sure that you don’t use this guy as your new protagonist:
He’s known to be an arch rival to your original protagonist.

I was gonna use Frostbite as the main antagonist, but then I changed to a Dragon.

You can only use the unity start up screen logo, made with unity. it is the only one that doesn’t require permission.
I wonder how assets like these pass the screening process

Apart from the Unity logo on the first screenshot, there is no usage of the logo on the Asset itself. This is fine.
The OP was asking if he can use the Unity logo in his game, which would not be okay - unless he gets the separate required authorization.

True they follow the same principle we do, change logos etc a bit. For example we have a Tricon sight in our game but the actual name is Trijicon
You may not use the Unity logo outside of the intended purposes outlined here Guidelines for Using Unity Trademarks
And you may not try to modify, alter or otherwise cause people to associate or mistake the Unity brand with your own property.
