The Polycount-Unity Connect Contest

Hi everyone,

As you probably know, Unity opened a new platform called Unity Connect. Due to this event, Unity in collaboration with Polycount makes a contest. If you didn’t know about it, you can look HERE or HERE.

I am a student at upper secondary school. I have a strong desire to participate there. So, I just would like to ask you to check out my project THERE. I do not invoke anyone to vote for me if they do not want. There are a lot of projects that deserve like more than mine. I just want to share the link with you, because it is kind of difficult for people to find new projects there. Hope I do not breach any rules.

I think Unity Connect is a great platform. There are already so many great projects. It is also very interesting to follow what vacations are in demand in the big companies. What do you think about it?

Thank you and good luck!

Wondering what the bottle of milk actually is.

I don’t know. But I must have one to add to my random collection of Unity swag. I don’t need a hoody, made my own out of all of the t-shirts that get handed out so liberally at Unity events.

In general Unity merchandise has been pretty good. The Swiss Army USB charger is incredibly useful. And the battery pack was useful for the year or so that it lasted. Haven’t had a need to use the wrist band yet.

You are lucky to have at least something… :frowning:
Have you won everything or just bought?

So far I haven’t brought anything. Technically speaking I haven’t won anything either. I just got given stuff for participation.

The t-shirts were given away at various random Unity events. The Swiss Army USB charger was given away by Unity Ads at Unite. The battery pack was part of a thank you for some work I did on the Answers upgrade.

Also I have been dreaming to make some simple 3d survivalist shooter in “painterly” style. Got me thinking if I could make some concepts into the connect, but currently dont know if I have enought time (well atleast for the contest).
