Unexpected behaviour? Unity 5 personal edition IOS splash screen

hey guys, i just used U5(personal) to publish my new game for ios. everything seems fine, its waiting for review now.

but, i notice some thing annoying from that unity ios splash screen. it completely cover up my logo scene, which its a actual game scene that last a few seconds.

i mean the default unity splash screen is playing along side with my actual game scene.

my question is: is that expected behaviour on IOS? i mean on android, Unity splash screen will show, only after that, my logo scene would play. never play along side with splash screen!

is this something that need to be addressed?

Hi CyberTurboPlays - I have encountered this myself, but it has been low on my priority list of things to tackle. This was asked by someone else about a week and a half ago, with no response:

I’m wondering: is it really an issue, or is there some new splash screen setting I’m not familiar with that resolves the issue? I did notice some splash-related iOS work in patch 5.0.0p3, but not sure if it’s related.

Anyone out there have any insight into this? My thanks in advance!

yeah, technically speaking, its not a problem, but not good on brand image wise. i just want to get their attention on this when they release the next update

same issue here too … not sure if this is a bug or a feature that can be configured with a setting somewhere.
