The timeline underneath is pretty cool. Turns out this was the first game ever made in Unity.

They did miss putting in a reference to the UI system that was just around the corner.

I was entertained enough to want the comic to be longer!

I wanted to see Unity’s availability on Windows mentioned. And the Marketing guys in San Francisco working out of a tiny apartment.

Unity was created to make GooBall, the engine turned out better than the game (the game sort of flopped) and here we are. That’s the biggest TL;DR ever.
