Unity 6 Editor Crashes When Locking Computer and Turning Off Monitor

Issue Description: The Unity 6 Editor crashes completely if I perform the following steps:

  1. Lock the computer using the Windows key + L.
  2. Turn off the monitor by disconnecting its power cable.

Additional Context: While it might seem reasonable to assume this behavior could affect other programs, Unity is the only application on my system that crashes under these circumstances. I regularly lock my computer and turn off the monitor for various reasons, making this issue particularly disruptive.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Unity 6 Editor.
  2. Lock the computer with Windows + L.
  3. Disconnect the monitor’s power cable.
  4. Observe that Unity crashes upon returning to the session.

Expected Behavior: Unity should remain stable and running after performing these actions, as other programs on my system do.

Actual Behavior: Unity crashes, and any unsaved work is lost.
