This is my first post here , but i was a passive reader until now.
I want to ask everybody about the eCPM this days, as my game seems to be doing better than never , but oh my god , the revenue is like the lowest in the history of Unity Ads.
Does this happen to everyone too ?
For example , in the last 7 days i drove 11k Impressions , with 2k impressions only in the last 24 hours , an increase of 50%. But the eCPM is like constantly falling.
There were lucky weekends that bought me ~20$ with like only 500-1000 impressions , so the eCPM was pretty high.
Yesterday my eCPM was 0,05$ on iOS , and 0,15$ on Android. Today , it is ~0,5$. But this week was a total disaster. Driving 11,000 ad impressions gained me …10$-15$ ?
My main source traffic is mainly from European players , but i also have US, Canada & UK traffic.
Also the game has like 30-50 active players constantly.
And fill rates are >90% on each country.
I feel like there’s something wrong , or maybe i don’t know how ads are working.
I’m waiting for some other users opinions…

You’re not the only one. We’ve seen our eCPM dropping too (although it’s bound to go down after the holiday period).
Our game has an average of 45k DAU but the eCPM has gone from $6 last month down to $2. We can’t find a reason why it’s dropped so much - unless Unity don’t have enough ad campaigns signed up.
Our fill rate is 95% which seems low and we’ve had reports that rewarded adverts could sometimes not be played, so in-game currency isn’t given which annoys players. Again, do Unity not have enough ad campaigns signed up?
Also, the drop hasn’t been consistent - it drops and then remains steady for a week, then drops again and remains steady for a week. Anyone else seeing this? Perhaps again a reflection of campaigns ending?
I expected the eCPM would roughly track our DAU (maybe with an offset of a day or three), but DAU is high and rising, revenue is not. Perhaps this is ‘eCPM decay’. If so, can we do anything about it?
Without more details of current campaigns and how much they pay per click/view I can’t tell if there are fewer high paying adverts to view, if our game is not showing as many adverts, or if Unity is taking a bigger cut.
Finally, Unity mention eCPM in the region of $6 - $12. Does anyone get that?

Seems like our games have the same symptoms.
I know that it should be normal for the eCPM to drop after the holidays period , but dropping is different from being almost inexistent…
It’s not like games will keep their rankings in the tops just because the holiday period passed. User acquisition should be existent at anytime. I don’t believe that this is a good explanation.
Also eCPM of $6-$12 is a dream for me this days , maximum was $2.

Mine dropped from $11 in the past to only 0.02 now. I have high suspicion unity is hoarding money it receives from ads and not pay developers except at beginning when number of users are lower.
Me eCPM is 0.26$ for US ads with %100 fill rate
Mine is $0.96 for US. We have to close Unity Ads now.
I am not impressed with mine eCPM either.
6-12$ eCPM? We get 3.59$ for USA…thinking about different provider.
Maybe indeed it is about time to change the provider.
On Humble Bundle, there is a Unity Bundle happening right now, and for 1$ you can get Easy Mobile Pro. I did not have a chance to use this plugin yet, but from their tutorials it seems that integrating other (and many) providers like AdMob is super easy. And you can support charity.
I will change to something else as soon as I have some free time.

No point putting Unity in mediation, it spoils the whole mediation. The worst one in all terms.
