I have an active Unity AI subscription (1000 credits/month, 1 seat). After one small generation my balance dropped to 500. I then restarted the editor without generating anything, and it showed ~145. I wasn’t running anything in between.
Unity 6.3 LTS (6000.3.19f1), AI Assistant 2.14.0-pre1, Windows.
Is this a known bug with credit tracking/consumption? Support asked me to get technical confirmation of the issue, so any official word would help. Thanks.
I can only relay that I observe “unexpected credit loss” in other AI as well. I might end a series of prompts and have 6.78 credits remaining. Close and re-open the AI and it may have dropped to 6.53.
This is most commonly accountable to a delay in updating the UI respectively the actual credits, as sometimes operations get billed after the fact to reduce the load on all that backend technology.
I am experiencing the same issue, and it is frustrating to see my credit balance depleting so rapidly without a clear explanation. If this pattern of unexpected consumption continues, I worry about the long-term viability of the AI tools for users. Are there any updates on why this is happening or a fix in the works?
