Unity Editor Hung on Installing

This is such a newbie question that I’m almost embarrassed to ask, but all my searching has turned up nothing useful so I’m turning to the forums.
I have Unity Hub and I am attempting to install Unity 2021.3.26f11. The download completed very slowly but successfully, but now the Editor application appears to be hung on “Installing…” A few dialog boxes popped up (I wasn’t paying attention then so I don’t remember what they say, unfortunately), but nothing has happened for over half an hour. If I try to cancel out the installation, it gives me an error “unable to cancel during installation”.

What’s the next step?

ETA: Spoke too soon. Waited another half hour and it sorted itself out. I feel stupid but I will leave the question up in case others in the future are searching for the same problem.

Hi RinceWind, Glad you solved the question, could you tell us if you did anything that could possibly solve the Hung problem or it was just waiting till it was downloaded?

Also, don’t be afraid to ask the silliest of the questions, as they say “There are no fool questions, but fools who don’t ask”
