I don’t know how to explain it very well, but whenever I launch unity, it opens 2 windows. One is the basic editor window, then another is a blank gray window. It was a slight annoyance, since its just an extra window, then I realized it was occasionally “stealing” and extra tabs that were open. Say I wanted to change the color of a material. I click the color next to Albedo, and suddenly the only thing I can see is a blank gray background with the normal color window, which means I can’t see any of the changes I’m making until I click 1 or 2 times on the blank window. This happens with 95% of the time, and I don’t know what I’m doing differently when it does/doesn’t do it.
Another issue is that sometimes the real editor and the blank window get switched, while not showing in alt tab. Say I press alt tab after coming back from vscode, it might show the thumbnail for the default editor, but its actually the blank window when I click it. Changing the size of the blank window makes the main window look super weird and deformed, like it duplicated itself on top of itself.
try to reset the layout see if works
