Uploading apk to chinese app store (woke up to find burst in analytics activity in china)

I have been working on a few updates to get my game “Tiny Tanks Warfare” finished before i launch on IOS. For now i am targetting android devices through Google’s play store. I have had moderate downloads in the past two months with some days bringing significant peaks. Two days ago however i woke up to find over 1000 new users from china playing on my app, i am very happy that so many people are playing my game, but its an older version of the app(v1.33) and i’d like to publish a new version to Chinese users that have a lot of new updates in the gameplay , weapon and also i have switched to admob which provides a much better ecpm than revmob’c measly <$1 ecpm(v1.35).

At the moment i have noticed that the majority of users were coming from a website d.c, i haven’t uploaded my app to any other app stores other than google play. So if anyone has any ideas on how to target the Chinese app market or has a tutorial that would be great.

-can i just upload my apk to any other app store as is the unity apk output file only setup to work with google play?
-Also how and where do other developers suggest uploading the apk for chinese users as google play isnt availabl in china and i’d like to take control of the distribution of my apps there.
-Is there any Tutorial on how to build and target a unity Android app to alternative app stores.

Those places are usually the gray area app markets and they automatically download versions from Google Play to get ad rev on the site and/or possibly rebrand your app, replace them with their ads or iap systems. It’s usually impossible to contact them and the version system is automated.

Thank for the info, i have read about a lot of devs who follow the paid model basically having their apps ripped off in those stores, for now it seems like all of the users are generating impressions and clicks on the old version of the app, it looks like a newer version 1.34 has just appeared on another store in china again. So far both versions are registering on my ad networks. I can only hope that whoever is uploading my app cant compromise my apps. I’d rather release an ad free version in china than allow someone else to unfairly monetise my work. Ideally however within the next few months i can gain a better understanding of the Chinese app market and hopefully at some point in the future look into providing my app there myself. For now i think i will focus on adding new upgrades, enemies and obstacles to the game and aim to focus on the main recognised app stores. Nevertheless if anyone has any info about publishing in china that would be helpful to know.

http://appslib.com is a chinese appstore I think. You can upload there. Amazon, Opera, SlideME are also mobile app publishers. I had best results on SlideME with one app, 30x better than Google Play.
