User character selection code/addon/editor

I want my users to pick a character from my prefabs, I can’t find a good addon/code to do this. Does anyone have a simple way to do this?

Swap prefabs when user does a specific action. (e.g click button)

By swap I mean:

  • Hide/delete existing prefab
  • Instantiate a new prefab in the position old prefab was.
