Web Player Live Streaming http://pathToStream or udp://@xxx.xx.xx.xxx:Port

Hi All,

I have a VR App for HTC Vive. I want to be able to see what the user is seeing in the HMD on an Tablet. The way I am trying to achieve this is, Use Video Chat concept. So make an app for the tablet and live stream the video from a web server address. On the other side the PC which has the VIVE app, will contain the webserver to which the vive app will broadcast to.

Has anyone done something like this before? I am very new to Unity development. So please feel free to suggest alternatives.

Regards,
Sameer

Perhaps it is the version of Unity. I can't really say. On the package manager it is straight forward how to find the new version.

In case you are still looking for answer, you may check FMETP STREAM | Forum

Hi @thelghome , I see you've responded really thoughtfully to a lot of questions in this area of video streaming / sockets / multi-user in Unity. I work at an established company that is looking to bring someone on for a short-term project related to incorporating networked video streaming inside their application (it's already multi-user). Curious if you'd be interested in touching base to see if you'd like to hear more about this! Thanks for considering, Gabe
