I’m testing Vivox, and getting disconnected with the error code “5100” as soon as I enter to the same room with a different session.
There doesn’t seem to be any information about what 5100 is in any part of the documentation or FAQ, so could anyone give me and idea of what I’m dealing with here?
This is likely because you have 2 different clients signed in with the same account name and trying to join the same channel. The first part, being logged in with the same account on 2 different devices is valid, however you can’t join the same channel with the same account name on each client. Try having different account names and then join the same channel.
If you are on the same device, Unity Authentication will try to use the same player id assuming your the same player from before. There are options to resolve this, you may either use Switch Profile before logging in (we do this in our Chat Sample) or Clear Session Tokens before logging in.
My question is that I am using the Mixed Reality Table Top Template and this worked fine using the MPPM system. The other day this just stopped working with this error 5100 code.
EDIT: Figures I post and then 3 minutes later i figure it out - lol - some how my MPPM virtual entries lost their tags so the first virtual player to join was using the same player name as the editor.
