World space UI for mobile phones (and emission)

I’m working on a student project which involves developing a game for smartphone and we have run into a problem.
For our UI we chose to use the camera space for it to adapt to different aspect ratios but this restricts us in the placing of the UI. Since we started we wanted to place the text UI behind a transparent game object ( a screen) and have the text be emissive (to simulate an old pc screen), but because our text is not world space there is no way for us to move the canvas the way we want to.

Is there a way to have the UI scale depending on the mobile phones screen whilst also having the ability to place it behind the transparent screen ?
