Hi,
I’am a texture artist and i create unique expertly made, seamless turnkey textures. I have experience with AAA game projects, so my textures are primarily suited to cutting-edge 3D games.

All my textures are hand-modelled. Modelling is a time-taking process, but the result you get is worth it. The major advantage of my textures is that geometry for normal map is being modelled with photo textures I photographed myself. It allows me to achieve higher quality – comparing with the textures modelled in Zbrush without photo reference.

How I create my textures:

  1. I take photos of the material. As a rule, I take lots of photos of the same place to capture the most precise texture. I take photos when the weather is cloudy to minimize rough shades.

  1. I make a tiled diffuse map in Photoshop and check how it looks when multiply repeated.

  1. Using the diffuse map I make a 3D model in 3D max.

  1. I bake a normal map and a height map. These maps I’d call basic. It’s not the final result, but just a rough piece that ensures a future texture would have regular form.

  1. Using the diffuse map I generate lots of variations for the normal and height maps in Crazybump. Some of them would be used to make detailed stone joints, others – to create the general texture.

  1. Using masks I mix the basic maps with variations, so that the final result looks as good as possible.

I guess, that’s all. The process takes time, but it’s my hobby, so I don’t complain.

textures are fine. but there is 1 thing you should notice. normal map in unity build with other axises. your normal map has red color in upper right corner, but unity need red color in down red color. in your case your showed normal map will not work correct in unity.

Yes, you are right, but this mistake only on screenshots. On the Unity Asset Store my normal maps with correct green chanel.
