An error with active license Unity hub

My English is not so good so forgive me if you don’t understand

I just downloaded and installed Unity 3.4.1. I created an account and everything is done but when it comes to license activation I cant activate it. I selected the “get a free personal license” section and continued but nothing happened. I tried manually selecting activation but getting the error “Unable to save this license”. Even though on the web my account is confirmed as “personal user” but when I press refresh I only get the error “Unable to refresh license. Please try again.” Really need help, thanks

same problem dude

I had the same problem. The following steps did the trick for me:

  • Close the Hub completely using the task manager (or similar).
  • Using your file explorer, navigate to:
  • Windows:
    C:ProgramData/Unity
  • Mac:
    Library/Application Support/Unity
and delete the .ulf file housed there.
  • Launch the Hub again, ensuring you allow the Hub to make changes to your hard drive in the process.
  • Reactivate your license following the steps outlined in the above article.

Any tips if that folder doesn’t have a .ulf file in it?

That helped me. Thank you very much (Unity hub 3.4.2)

It doesn’t work :frowning:

Saved and solved. Good one man!
