I cant activate licence. "Unable to refresh license. Please try again."

When I try to activate persconal licence in hub 3.4.1 there is no reaction. After I click Refresh Update Licence it prints:
Unable to refresh license. Please try again.

Please help, I can’t use Unity because of it!

If you’re behind a proxy server that inspects traffic you’ll have to enable an environment variable. Not ideal and I’m looking for other options but its documented here. Unity Hub not working with Browser Login [Please Help] - Unity Forum

I solved this error by deleting the “Unity” file from C:/ProgramData/

My problem was that the project wasn’t opening after clicking on it. Knew it had something to do with license and clicking refresh license gave me the same error. @TuteDev 's solution worked for me. Thanks!

I am facing the same issue: Activation of your license failed. Try again or contact Unity Support for help.
for personal free licensing. I went into C:\ProgramData but I could not fine Unity file. And issue has not been resolved yet

There is a Unity folder with a cached license file.
Just had to remove it and reactivate to fix this nasty error.

Deleting the cached license definitely does not work:

Great, I deleted the folder before scrolling down to see the status page. Now I can’t open projects. :roll_eyes: There goes my motivation for the day…

Aaaand the asset store lost all my favorites, great. Just great. Is there an ETA on these services being back online?
