Asset Store Search could use some improvements

I tried to search for the official “Dragon Crashers” UI Toolkit Asset in the store and misremembered it as “Dragon Crushers” (notice the U instead of the A there). The result was that the store search did not find it at all despite 14 characters of the title being correct. It only listed 6 (other) assets. So it’s not like it lists the asset at a low rank. It does not even add it to the result set at all.

I don’t know what “AI” the store search is using but I would ask you to add a little query that checks for title text distance to the search results. It is quite annoying to not being able to find an asset by its title with a little typo in it. I had to go to Google to find it.

If I understand correctly it is called Semantic Search:
Ability to use natural language to search assets.

The new backend of the Asset Store is in the works, and we will feel it later this year.

After that, all new features like Semantic Search can be integrated.
