I’ve got a Kickstarter for a tabletop board game running right now and we are 70% funded after just 3 days. I may be overly optimistic, but I wanted to look into making a tablet version of the game and seeing how far I could get in a week or so. I was hoping to find a recommendation for a YouTube video, blog post or book describing the general process of making a digital board game in unity 2d. It’s obvious from my Google searches that such a thing is in high demand, but maybe I’m just bad at Google.
The last time I took a really hard look at unity, I ended up spending 3 weeks trying learn blender instead so I could make some models. Hopefully with all the 2d art assets available from the board game, I can just get started without the distraction of art needs.
