[CLOSED] Seeking Tutor to Guide Through Project Creation -- [$25/hr Base || 1-2 Hr. Sessions || Tues. or Wed.]

Summary:
Hey devs! I’m slowly self-teaching myself individual aspects of Unity2D, in hopes to create a game that I’ve been designing aspects about for a number of years now. I have been banging my head against ChatGPT to get a fair baseline and begin implementing ideas, but ultimately believe that some human oversight and clarification is the only way to practically proceed forward.

Position:
I am looking for a tutor who is willing to jump on for 1 to 2 hour session via Discord voice/screen share, either specifically understanding the Unity game engine better, refining the project I’m working on, understanding fundamental logic to employ stronger scalability, or any other overarching concepts I may not be considering.

Currently, I am available on Tues/Wed, but this will likely change as I am starting a new job soon, but for right now, most any time before 8pm PST would work for me.

Looking For:
-Someone with Top-Down, 2D Action-RPG experience, who can advise/employ UI, inventory, combat, stat/level up, enemy, loot, etc. types of systems
-Someone who can review the currently employed system, ask clarifying questions about the current setup, and recommend better solutions
-Someone who can solve/explain problems and solutions, as well as help create/review/advise of tasklists/checklist for me to complete in-between tutoring sessions.

About Myself:
I am working by myself at the moment, and have completed various Unity tutorials over the years, but have never made a serious project. I have various bits of electronics technology/software programming experience, as well as some light work in pixel art creation but my strongest suit is in music production. While a lot of concepts in game design are familiar to me, I am not fully clear on how all these individual aspects come together to make a complete game, and want to bridge that gap, while creating a long-time passion project I’ve been conceptualizing for almost 4 years now.

Progress:
The project I’m working out of is EXTREMELY bare-bones. It started out as a testing environment, and I just keep adding things onto it. It currently has:
–A player character with animation
–Enemy bats that fly around, have varied movement, bounce off walls, and knockback the player.
–A weapon (Fire Wand) that can be picked up. It should be shooting fireballs, but it is broken and I cannot figure out why.
–A QuickBar UI and Inventory UI that are synced (but is broken and I can’t identify why, as well as incomplete)
(and more, but not much more)
