Try upgrading the Intel HD Graphics drivers. Intel HD is notorious for driver bugs unfortunately.
Also it matters greatly what kind of HD Graphics. If we’re talking about 5+ year old model then chances are it just won’t work at all because there aren’t any driver updates coming in anymore, and gaming or game technology is the least of concern for Intel with these chips - they are intended for cheap business or personal use, not gaming.
