Emissives aren't appearing in the scene view, although they are in game

I was messing around with emissives but then I ended up turning them off. I got them to reappear in the game view, but not in the scene view. I want to be able to adjust them and see the changes I make instead of having to switch to the game view everytime. I have spent a while trying to figure this out but I haven’t been able to, nor have I been able to find any answers online. If anyone has any ideas for a fix I’d be grateful for the help!

Are you talking about meshes using emissive materials not appearing? Or is it baked light coming from emissives which is a problem?

I think the meshes not appearing. Actually I think I misunderstood your question, I’ll post images below about what is happening

Emissives are not appearing in the scene view editor window

But they do whenever I play the game or view it from the game window

So the emissive meshes are definitely there, it’s just that the post processing does not seem to be rendering in the scene view. In your case, it seems like bloom is missing.

Do you happen to be on URP? In older URP/LWRP versions, this was a known limitation (post processing rendering only in the game view). It should be fixed in the newer URP versions.

Also, make sure that post processing toggle is on in the scene view. It’s a small button right above the scene viewport, wedged in between a little loudspeaker and an eye icons.

Yeah I don’t know what is happening. I checked all of the settings you mentioned and everything looks right. I wasn’t using any special rendering software before so I downloaded URP but still haven’t noticed anything different. Edit Actually now emissives aren’t even appearing in the game view. I guess I really don’t know what I’m doing.
