FBX can not be seen :.?

Hi there,
I am just getting started with animations and I just imported (drag and dropped) an animation, an .FBX file into my project. However, when I place it in the scene, I can see the transform, but not the object. Am I missing something?

Also, some threads are saying something like “Unity only support skeleton based animation”???
Unsure.

Known issue, and unfixed since years. The default import settings imports FBX too small. Go to the import settings, change the scale factor from its initial 0.01 to 1 and click apply. Unfortunately you have to repeat this procedure for every new fbx file that you import.

Also, if the model is still not present, it may be over the vertex limit, so do check for any import errors.

This has been one of Unity’s most annoying problems since day one. Hopefully they add a new friendly import preferences window for the FBX pipeline.
