Hi there, I created a great UI package that will seamlessly integrate visually into games and apps for mobile, kids, fun or lighthearted projects. Everything you need to get your UI laid out quickly and smoothly is included.
All standard interaction types with prefabs
Amazingly well organized Photoshop source files that makes updating incredibly simple. (Watch the video below)
A boat load of icons all included within a single font file.
Lots of layouts and window examples included in the project.
I’d love to hear anyones thoughts on the packs or if there are any questions. I will gladly expand on the pack free of charge if there are any requests.
I really like the look of your UI, but from the static images it is hard to tell how the “interactive feel” of the UI is.
Could you also provide a video of the UI itself in action, or even better a testable WebGL sample UI.
Hey PatientZero, this is a great idea. I am working on another UI pack now, but this sounds like a great thing to add to the next update. I really appreciate the feedback.
Love the look of your package! I downloaded it and opened up the file in Photoshop and was able to change the color of the smart objects, but when they auto export (as explained in the video), they’re placed into a separate “Source-Assets” folder under the “_raw” folder which don’t have any of the settings configured (which makes customizing somewhat difficult). (as a person who doesn’t use Photoshop) do you know how i can get photoshop to automatically overwrite the existing images in the “_raw” folder?
Thanks for the feedback AndyCodes, great question as well.
Since Photoshop can sometimes be a little unwieldy in how it performs this auto save, I figured it was best to save out the “auto save” images into a separate folder, so you don’t accidentally overwrite some files you wanted to keep originally.
To combat this, after photoshop saves its files into that new folder, simply copy the new ones from “Source-Assets” into the “_raw” folder and overwrite the existing files. Unity will then pick up those changes and you are good to go!
Let me know if that makes sense and helps. Good luck mate!
Awesome the color you use and the style all of it are just amazing
For that reason I bought it, but I have a problem when I open the framing folder , and choose a fram when I try to resize it, it’s become less clear, the following photo show the native size of it when I insert it …
Can you please help me, our game must be finished at the end of April and we still stack on the interfaces design, tell someone recommended your assets and we face this problem unfortunately
looks nice.
i cannot navigate the example scene in 2017.3.0
i can interact with the elements in the view but the camera is locked in one position.
any ideas ?
Great question, thanks for asking! It sounds like you might be in play and game mode. See the image and make sure the scene is paused and that you are in the Scene tab and not the Game tab. Let me know if this helps, thanks!
If you dont have photoshop you wont be able to open up the photoshop file and do the auto export feature I speak about in the video. However, I do believe you can download a free alternative version called GIMP which will open up photoshop files. You still wont be able to auto export the files but you can manipulate and save them manually.
Let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions, thanks!
Yeah! A new update was sent a few days ago, but it may take a few days for Unity to publish it to the asset store. So it should be there any day now, keep an eye out for an update. Thank you!
Hey, fantastic UI pack. I’ve been using it extensively!
I’m having issues with scaling up the assets though, my photoshop skills are almost 0.
When scaling the assets in unity, they appear blurry as you can see in the screenshot.
Would you mind explaining how I can increase the resolution for the entire PS source file provided?
Hey, glad you’re enjoying it! The easiest thing to get them to an even bigger scale would be to open the up PSD in photoshop and go to image->image size and adjust the size of the image. everything will scale with it and re-export. I haven’t done this myself and may require some fiddling in Unity to get it all working correctly, but that is the fastest way to get larger assets. I hope this helps, thanks again !
You’re right, it looks like a bug! Let me reexport a fixed pack for the store. You should receive an update in just a few days that will fix this. Thanks for the heads up, sorry for the inconvenience!
Edit: A new package is being uploaded to the store now. Please let me know if you come across any additional issues, thank you!
Side note: due to the way Photoshop works, if you decide to auto generate assets again from the Photoshop file there will be that tiny shadow on the assets again. This is unavoidable unfortunately. But I’ve manually removed them from the default assets for you.
