Gamers' scream to iPhone game developers

Slide to Play has indeed clever and useful publication for iPhone game developers. It is something like a gamers’ scream to devs. Really useful to read through and to see comments.

Very helpful reminder, thank you very much

it would be great when someany (experienced programmer) can write script to open and play a mp3 file from music-library as background-music in games.

is this possible ?

As inconvenient as random price drops may be for some players, a well-timed price drop can make all the difference between mediocre and breakthrough success. As long as enough developers are still dramatically improving their sales figures with well-timed, responsive price adjustments, I doubt this will change. Players are voting with their dollars, and right now they are voting overwhelmingly that this is fine.

No. Apple unfortunately does not allow access to the iTunes library. BeatRider Touch has found interesting way around it, but it doesn’t really make sense for most types of games.

There is the ability for them to play their own music (outside of your app), while using your app. While this is more work for the user, it gives them the functionality that they’re looking for…their own music, your game.

I made a game that deaf people can play. Glad to hear somebody might like that. 8)
