Generators: Incoming changes - Nov 2025

Hi all! We hope you’re enjoying your use of our Generators package. We wanted to update you with some changes that may affect your current workflows:

  • The Video to Motion model is no longer available. Our partner deprecated their service for this specific functionality. We are currently looking at new partners who could replace this and we will update the community once it’s implemented.
  • We are replacing the Unity sound model with Scenario’s ElevenLabs SFX v2 model by the 28th of November, to keep the feature available.
  • The replacement ElevenLabs model does not support reference sounds, and we are reviewing usage of that feature and the best options for maintaining compatibility with the current AI Workflows package. We are also exploring alternate partners.

If you’re interested in what’s coming next, please check out our Roadmap and Keynote speeches from the 2025 Unite conference.

We will also be posting updates regarding our new, upcoming Beta soon!

Please feel free to reach out with any concerns or queries you may have.

Really y’all should just push native support for ComfyUI or something. All these cloud-based efforts just don’t have the versatility.

Unity wants to monetize things and it becomes much more difficult for them when they can’t make you rely on the cloud. I just don’t see any advantage to using them when I can work with these companies directly.

Any update on the video to motion model?

We don’t really need Unity to build yet another separate Generators ecosystem.

What we need is simply native support for the MCP protocol in Unity (with a high-quality, officially maintained set of Unity MCP tools). Once Unity speaks MCP properly, any AI client can be used immediately—Cursor, Antigravity, Visual Studio Code + Copilot, Visual Studio (including Insiders) + Copilot, and others.

Developers would then be free to connect any third-party MCP servers they want (for voice, 3D drafts, textures, UI, etc.) and—through Unity’s MCP integration—bring those results into Unity projects and games in a consistent, standard way.
