This is what I did, don’t know if I’m doing something wrong
and also, I put all the animations in one big game object with sub-game-objects that have the animations in it.

Probably best to start with some basic tutorials for moving things using Visual Scripting. The tutorials linked here are one place, but Youtube has more.
Once you have something like a cube moving around and working, save and back up your work, then begin to integrate animation and your own models as a separate subsequent step, generally by setting something like a “speed” parameter, which the animator is configured to respond to.
All of these things are in any basic tutorial, but they will require meticulous attention to detail, as pretty much 100% of it has to be 100% correct or it won’t work.
Two steps to tutorials and / or example code:
If you go past anything that you don’t understand, then you’re just mimicking what you saw without actually learning, essentially wasting your own time. It’s only two steps. Don’t skip either step.
Step #2 is particularly critical when learning.
If you are unwilling or unable to do Step #2, just ask someone else to do the whole game for you.
