I cant seem to open assets from a Unity Tutorial

Hi! im new to the software and i dont really understand a lot of it.

I wanted to learn and i tried to follow the “2D Beginner: Adventure Game” and i just cant manage to open the assets. I have downloaded all the possible editors it might need but the project doesn’t even appear in my file searcher at all…

What could i be doing wrong?

The file you downloaded it’s called *.unitypackage?

In that case, you need to create a empty Unity project from Unity and then drag and drop that file.
