Initializeserver error for master server?

Hi,

I am using my own master server, I build the master server using the following tutorial Advanced Unity 3D Game Development Tutorial | Running Your Own Master Server - YouTube. I only uploaded my master server and facilitator. I was to successfully build my server and got my ip address and port for master server. Now, in unity I wrote the following code:

void Start () {

    	MasterServer.ipAddress = "xx.xxx.xxx.xx"; -- My ip address

    		MasterServer.port = 23466;

    		Debug.Log (" ip " + MasterServer.ipAddress + " port " + MasterServer.port);

    		initializeServer ();
    	}

    public void initializeServer()
	{
		 Network.InitializeServer (2, 23466, !Network.HavePublicAddress());
	}

I am getting the error as ;
“The connection request to 67.225.180.24:50005 failed. Are you sure the server can be connected to?”

I don’t understand unity is showing the error for 67.225.180.24 even when I changed the Master’s IPaddress.

Please help me. I checked my port, it is working fine.
why it is showing error for unity server?

Hi, I am looking for a reply. Unity people please help me. I am able to work on multiplayer because of this. :(

Hi, aasthsa

I think you have to open some the ports on MasterServer machine.

Maybe this doc can help you:

http://www.addframe.net/d/fpshootnet/FPShootNet.pdf

Also note as I see your app is still trying to connect to Unity facilitator test server (67.225.180.24) instead to your server.

Hi nastasache, Thanks for the reply but it didnt help :(. my master server is showing the same results but still on running the project it shows error for unity master server and I haven't defined IPaddress of unity's master server anywhere
