Daydream app required to build/test my daydream app.
When I try to build my daydream app on Unity onto my Google Pixel, I get the following message when the app starts up.

“Install required Daydream app is required to experience VR. Install Daydream from the Play Store.”

When i click ok it goes to the Play Store and says “Item not found”

I’m sure this is Google getting ready for the Daydream view headset release.

Is there a workaround for this so I can work on my project?

Having the same issue. Same app I’ve been developing for days suddenly won’t launch. Quite frustrating.

Edit: Got it! When you’re prompted by the window to hit “OK” and go to the Play Store, just hit “Cancel” instead. The app will run normally.
