Lighten Lightmap

How do I lighten my lightmaps? Apart from lighting all the EXR files?

Ok so i did a batch action on all my EXR files and adjusted the exposure. However when i replace the current files and after reloading all the maps, it doesn’t pick up the adjustments. So how can i lighten the lightmaps in ANY way?

That should work, actually correction, that -does- work, cause I’ve done just that. Did you definitely change the exposure or just the displayed version?

Tried selecting all and hitting reimport, just to make sure they’re imported again?

What do you mean by just the displayed version?

I reimported like 10 times now, i definietly changed exposure (over 90 maps or so). But when i go check in Unity the maps look the same as before, when i go to the files (from within unity) and open them in PS it looks different

Hmm… they’re still set as lightmaps in Unity after reimporting them right? And still in the correct places? Or is Unity using the same ones from before and not aware of the new ones?

I tested this with making a single lightmap totally black and one totally white and unity did pick this up. This makes the whole more dark or light but not the contrast…

However what i was trying to do making the shadows more tranparent, how can i do this?

Here’s what i mean:

Making the shadow intensity less than 1 before baking should do the trick. If not, you just raise the ambient amount which does work (been messing with it today).

Thanks for all the help Frank, i’m currently i no position to rebake everything, that’s why i was trying to alter the maps.

By shadow intensity you mean the shadow strenght of my realtime lightsource?
