Hi, when i use custom animations (made in Blender or 3dsmax) the character is moving up and down (slow small jumps if the animation is in loop), this happens when root is not animated and is very weird, for example when only one arm is animated, i see many forums and videos and try many setups in the animator component (apply root motion) and in the asset animation settings (root transform position) but the problem never is fixed, when i use library animations this problem not appear, i upload a fbx for ilustrate the problem, thanks.

You likely want to set the root transform y position to Original in the model’s animation.
This will tell the character to always retain it’s original y height at the start of the animation.

Thanks for the answer, but in last days i try many, many combinations of this settings without luck, the problem looks like in Unity the vertical root position of the animation uses the average distance of min and max points of the character mesh, and this causes that the root animation moves (looks like as the unity root is fine but the animation root is the problem), i try many settings but never is fixed, when i have time i will upload a video that show this weird effect.
