Hi, just tried building an empty project as well as a working project using 5.6b1 and they both are missing the loading bar when starting it locally using Firefox as well as run it from a website.
Anyone else having this problem ?

Are you by any chance experiencing the same behaviour I described here?
Or is your issue different?
Hi, i am actually not seeing any progress bar at all… After the games is downloaded (whatever time it takes) it just starts… and the screen stays grey and empty until the game starts!
Hello Vagabond_.
This is clearly a bug, which will be resolved in the very near future. The progress bar does appear on the screen, but it is not visible because it has the same color as the background. In order to quickly fix this, look for the following line in your-build.json:"splashScreenStyle": "Light",and replace Light with Dark (or vice versa).
Thank you very much for the report.
Thanks… this fixed it for me currently for a project build using 5.6b1. However building a new empty project on 5.6b2 is sill not working no matter change from dark to light or vise versa or change the bg color…
Will test again later in order to confirm this… Thank You!
Hi it is actually working for b2 as well - thank you !
Is this in 5.6 released last week? If so, could you please submit a bug report and post the bug number here?
Same here, no progress bar with unity 5.6.0f3
Made this a bug for us. It will show up soon at Unity Issue Tracker - Progress bar missing with 5.6
After some further investigation I’d say it actually works. Try Unity WebGL Player | New Unity Project 16 and check whether it shows the progress bar there for you.
If it is broken in your project please submit a bug report as Marco asked. Thanks.
Bug report numer 900105 project is included… but i’ts a new empty project.
Any news on this?
I tried to change the “backgroundColor” and also switched from
“splashScreenStyle”: “Light” to “Dark”
but only sometimes I see the progress bar popping up for a very short moment.
Using 2017.1
In your test link there it only flashes onto the screen very briefly, is that the intended behaviour? We are seeing similar things in our projects and would like to see a progress bar that displays immediately anything happens and stays on the screen until the game is ready to actually launch
