Navmesh on a Sphere - possible with 5.6 ?

is it now possible to create NavMesh on a whole Sphere ?

If you mean a navmesh that wraps around a sphere - having a varying up-vector: no, it is not supported - nor is it planned. The navmesh supports only plane-parallel worlds

If you have a big sphere where the curvature is small it’s possible to bake a navmesh for a local section on that sphere.

Hi, I was looking at this during the 5.6 beta. Definitely possible… see my video… I just sprinkled A Lot of nav mesh links at the seams with a prefab placer (Procore’s QuickBrush I believe…)
