I’m not rich so i can’t buy unity pro yet, so lets say i make a good game on free unity version, and i wanted to convert it to pro so i could publish. Would i have to re-create the game in the pro part, or is it just an update and my game is just now converted to a better engine.
There are no free/pro “versions”, updates, or different engines–there’s just one app, called Unity. Unity Pro is simply a license. It enables features that the free license does not have but otherwise nothing actually changes.
You can earn money with Unity Free. And if you make enough money, you can buy Unity Pro to unlock all the cool features. And no, you don’t need to re-create what you have done just to use it on Pro version.
