Objects surface look grey/foggy at distance

What is causing this greyness on object surfaces that are far away in distance? I’d like to be able to see things far away with clarity, or at least adjust this distance. I’m using the Universal Render Pipeline.

I found the solution! Go to Window > Rendering > Lighting Settings > Fog , change the intensity or turn it off completely
