You play as Neil Castro, a special agent from a futuristic organization that keeps peace across the globe. Neil is taking his first and final stand against a new alien menace. The object of the game is to locate and activate a series of terminals and survive as long as possible against the horde.
The game play in this sci-fi survival game is heavily influenced by classic side-scroller games, with separate fire and jump buttons on the right hand side and an on screen analog stick on the left. As you play through the game, the size of the horde will increase and new enemies will appear. The enemies will drop various items that will help you survive, like health packs and new weapons. The entire game takes place in one large stage with different areas that include multiple different environments and destructible obstacles. Enjoy this sci-fi survival shooter with dynamic music, sharp colorful art, and smooth, fast paced game play.
Definitely looks interesting, animation is nice, I like use of physics (when environment crushes the enemies). I have 2 concerns: 1. I think it could be better with some kind of blood. I want to feel more when monster is killed. 2. I might be wrong about this but from trailer it looks kinda repetitive. Hopefully game does have enough variation in it (I mean enemies, weapons, scenery, ect). But overall I like it!
I definitely will take another crack at the deaths (already began implementing broken limbs and blood stains and more exaggerated blood) and this next big update will bring in more variation to weapons, enemies, and design, so keep an eye out for it!
Although the original intent was one big underground stage I am thinking of creating a couple of diverse environments (perhaps even different stages). Since this is my first game I definitely have room to improve but your support is very helpful.
One thing I don’t want to fall into is the generic earn money and buy weapons deal seen in a lot of apps. However I think adding a limited supply of ammo and more control over your weapons (and secret unlocks) will add the variety you seek. There is already an unlock able 16 bit mode coming in v 1.5 which is pretty interesting as the music and textures go into a super retro mode - however this is more of a gag than a real unlock.
This is the end of day one and I’ve received a lot of good feedback form several sources.
