Resolution in Game View and build are different even though they are set as the same number

I’m finding this strange bug that I can’t figure out. I have my game view resolution set to 1080x1920.

And I have my player settings to 1080x1920. I’m also changing the resolution in start to 1080x1920 just in case. In any of these cases the resolution as a build is different than in editor. Why is this happening? I don’t know which one is actually 1080 width.



You can ignore tje number on the build screen it doesn’t have to do with the resolution.

In the game view, your “scale” is set 0.24x so whatever your resolution is set to in the game view, it will be scaled down. If you set the scale to 1 then it will show at the actual resolution.

I don’t think that’s it because even when I scale it the proportions are still right, the images go to the end of the screen.
