Slow production build and service app downloading

I have tester Unity cloud, and seems its very useful product for me, because I usually don’t have Mac.
But, what I found is - small app production (up to 50mb) takes about 15 minutes + downloading from your server about 10 minutes more. I got a great internet connection, so the problem must be on your side.
I would like to know - if I get subscription plan for 25$/ month, will it be better?

Glad you like it! The connection is not throttled on the free plan, so it won’t increase if you upgrade to a subscription plan, but you get a lot of other benefits you should not miss :wink:

Other than that, can you try a different ISP (e.g. use your 3G/LTE GSM connection instead of your Wifi (landline) if you have different providers) and see if you get different results. Where are you located?

Seems that connection troubles was only at the day, when I started to use your service. Now its ok.

I have the same problem. Download speed ~15-20Kb/s

Which area are you from? Can you test it with a different ISP?

I am also experiencing this issue for the last week with 15 Kbs cap on apk downloads, iOS installs, even the web build. Happens on Kabel Deutschland here in Munich, doesn’t seem to happen on M-Net.

Same issue from Moscow, Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test.
Tested several different ISP.
10-15 Kbs cap on downloading .apk/.ipa.

I created a new build configuration and so far the download speeds are back to normal (the old build config remains slow). If this holds up for a week, then I will kill the old configuration. It’s shame to lose the build history, but the weird download/routing issues are a real productivity killer.

Same issue from Tokyo. Is there any solution for the extremely low download speed?. As far as I know, the problems it is been there for more than 2 weeks.

I really like Unity Cloud Build Serve. It would be a pity having to use another download build service because of the low download speed. I sincerely doubt tester are willing to wait so much time to test an app. Furthermore, for multiplatform testing purposes the slow speed in a considerable inconvenient.

The Cloud Build system doesn’t specifically apply throttling of the download speeds based on the plan, app configuration, or ISP. Downloads are currently hosted from the west coast of the United States, so downloads from other parts of the world may be slow or subject to significant variation at this point - it’s worth inquiring with your ISP if you see a really slow download speed from a specific location, however.

I have tested to different locations, and the ISP has something to do with the problem. My download average speed with a server located in California it is barely 3Mb/s. However, the situation becomes worse when I try to download from a mobile. Another problem is the huge amount of devices connected to the Wifi at my work. Therefore, the actual problem is located in the company where I work, not in Unity servers.
