Can i make the particles move to my player. I mean control it. can i do that ?
Check out the documentation, but I think it is possible to do that(updating particle position).
If the particle system is a child object to the player, you can just use a spherical emitter shape set to “emit from shell” from a larger radius and then set the particle speed to negative. This will have the effect that the particles will spawn a set distance away in a random direction then move inward toward the player. This is the simplest way to manage what you seem to be suggesting, as it can be accomplished using only the particle system settings, and if you use “world” simulation space instead of “local”, the localPosition will determine the spawn locations but not carry the particles around unrealistically when the character is moving.

If you want something a little more versatile and particles that can be attracted by multiple objects in the scene like magnets, you’ll likely need to create your own solution. Particles absolutely can be manipulated in that fashion, I’ve seen it done and experimented with a few methods myself in the past, but I don’t have any ready-made solutions to offer, or know of any offhand that I can link to, at least outside of complete particle system packages on the Asset Store (which mostly aren’t cheap).
Docs not showing this point.
OK. is there any tutorial ?
Thank you for your explanation. But this is not what i’m talking about. If you played “Fable” or “Ninja Gaiden” you will see particles appears when enemy die. These things move to player if he get close to them.

In my case it show up after i kill the target. But it not moving to me if i get close.
Okay. Well, in keeping with the desire to use the built-in particle system as much as possible here, I made some adjustments to the particle system like extending the particle life to 100 (can be set dynamically in script later), adding gravity, emitting from a hemisphere upward around the character, and setting collisions for the particles both so they stick to the ground and they’ll collide with the player later and allow for some logic there (destroying the particle, adding points or energy or whatever).
Here are some screenshots of the settings I chose.
… and finally, what the result looks like (with guides to show the collision sphere and emitter)
Additionally, I found this script online for a way to “attract” these particles to the player, which will give you the effect you want and assist in creating collisions with the particles to “obtain” them.
I haven’t tested the script, but it looks like a good start, though it may need to be modified a bit obviously. You’ll also have to write the collision event that actually destroys the colliding particle and gives the player… whatever you want to give the player in exchange.
Hope that helps!
Yes. this is good. All what i need is here.
Thank you Lysander :).

is this still possible to do? your example is exactly what I am hoping to achieve
