Hey there, i’ve created a custom VisualElement with a label in it because i want my text to be shortened when the text exceeds the elements width. Since the TextOverflow.Ellipsis cannot be applied via USS i decided to go with a custom Element. I also style the label with rich text which works well when the width of the element is high enogh. But as soon as the label shortening kicks in my used color-tag is visible instead of the colored text:
when i decrease the elements width so that the text width exceeds the elements width:
