Hallo everyone,
here’s my issue:
The Terrain Editor doesn’t allow me to paint textures anymore within my current project. It only shows the base texture. Other textures can be added, but not painted. On top of that I am unable to change the brush size. So in essence I can’t do any texturing in my current project. Something seems to be corrupted.
Creating a new terrain doesn’t help. However, creating an entirely new project and a terrain works. Importing that terrain as a package into the original project doesn’t work.
Even though I somehow can’t reproduct the problem in a new project, here is roughly what I did in the original project:
I created a terrain and added 3 textures with normal maps to it. After that, in the Material option of the Terrain Settings, I switched several times between “Built In Standard”, “Build in Legacy Diffuse” and “Custom”.
I also created a Standard Material and assigned it to the Terrain Material’s Custom slot (not knowing this isn’t fully compatible). I then cleared the map and switch back to “Built In Standard” again.
Sometime thereafter I realized I couldn’t paint textures anymore. Worth noting:
Does anyone know could be causing this problem?
Thanks!
Sean
