[UNET] Running a server closes a previously open port

Good afternoon,

I am developing a multiplayer game using UNET, and I have run into a most peculiar problem.

Before running a server, the UDP port I have forwarded registers as open using portforward.com’s networking tools. However, as soon as I begin running a server on that port, the port becomes closed. The port is forwarded using TCP/UDP.

I have seen other forum posts reporting similar problems but none have a solution. If anyone has any ideas whatsoever as to what could be the cause, please do not hesitate to let me know immediately.

By the by, I have tried many different ports including 7777, 25015, 7850, and others. I have also had successes port forwarding for other programs.

And finally, I am using a Cisco DPC3941T router, and I would desperately like a better one, but sadly a new router/modem is out of reach for the time being.

Thank you,
DoktorHolmes

Hmm, actually I do not understand what;s happened. Could you generate bug with reproducing steps and problem description? If it is very urgent, you can ping me just after bug will be opened.
