Unity 6.2.5f1-6.2.6f1/f2 errors on GameObject Selected and empty inspector labes

Just updated the project to 6.2.5 from 6.2.4 and I’m getting these errors after clicking on a GameObject on the scene:


Seems that reloading the scene fix it

Restarting the editor cause the problem to re appear

I get a few errors on loading like that but I clear and ignore and its all fine

It is becoming a little bit to of a big issue, keep destroying my inspector.

I have the same issue in 6000.2.5f.

Same issue in 6000.2.5f. Got this issue when clicking on a ScriptableObject.

6000.2.4f seems to be fine.

Once 2.6 is out and fixed I will mark it as solved and set the solution

potential workaround, maybe: go to Unity > Settings > General, and change Editor Font from “Inter (Default)” to “System Font”

For me changing “Editor Default Text Rendering Mode” to “SDF” from “Bitmap” seems to have fixed it

But my editor font was already System Font. So it might be that changing settings recalculates some setting?

Unfortunally still not fixed in 6.2.6, will be fixed by .7 I guess, because it says fixed (Unity Issue Tracker - "UnityException: GetName can only be called from the main thread." erors are thrown when the Shortcuts window is opened and entering Play Mode with a shortcut).

Here I’m with an update. Seems like 6.2.7f2 and all packagaes updated fixed the problem, I will set this comment as the solution, let me know if any of you are still having this issue.

For now, I found a quick workaround to reset the inspector. Just re-select the current Layout.
