UNITY GEAR VR [BEGINNER QUESTIONS]

Hi friends,

I’m just starting testing the VR world :smile:, and I got a few questions:

  1. It’s possible to make a GEAR VR game with multiplayer system (e.g Unity Multiplayer Service)?
  2. Can Facebook SDK to be integrated to GEAR VR game?
  3. It’s possible test the game in Unity Editor, not to be forced to testing it on device :frowning: ?

*Using Gear VR with Samsung Galaxy S6Edge

  1. yes, just give it a go
  2. yes kind of, but you will probably not like any of the pop-ups as they are 2D / non-vr compatible
  3. yes, just run the game like you would normally, then when you are done debugging, switch to your device for testing in VR
