What are you working on?

Im not sure why one of these threads doesnt exist already so I figured I would start one.

This thread is for everyone to post anything they are working on if, for whatever reason they dont want to make an entire thread for it. Maybe its just a small project or early work in progress. Also if it could be stickied that would be great

I will start, I have been working a cutscene editor over the last few days. Its actually part of a larger Adventure Game framework.

Awesome! Great idea, and your cutscene editor looks awesome.

I’m currently working on a networked, cooperative real-time action-rpg prototype… Very early right now, but I have a lot of subsystems working, like authoritatively spawned and controlled FSM-based AI enemies, functional aggro tables, basic melee combat, and authoritatively synced stats and health.

I’m working on single player game based on a specific battle in the anime DragonBallZ. Its still in early stages.

Nice work both of you.

Stoner Sr25 rifle, high poly, still early wip, has 3 mags 10, 20 and 30rnd,full rails, heat shield hand guards, and an m68 aimpoint. Still have some more mods to make before i begin work on the lowpolys but thought its pretty cool, and perfect for this thread.

I am working on a 50 level project called viral. you play as a virus going through mazes to get to the computer chip and destroy it. It will be optimizes for PS3. and also, I only have one level so far.

I’m sorry to disappoint you, Kurt, but some time ago another thread (that curiously had the same name of yours) was started but sadly gained very little attention.

Hope that yours will go better.

are you going to give away that cutscene editor for free? or arent you giving it away at all

Color! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1748857694/color

This is a particle based cloud system I have been working on…

Each cloud has 60 particles…

enjoy!

Figure I might as well put my post from the other thread here.

Right now I’m working on a game called Rush Wing for IOS. It’s like Star Fox 64 for the iPhone. I guess. There’s really not much else to say about it since I haven’t worked on it for very long.

My other project is a remake of Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure. I REALLY hope some day I can finish this.

I am working on a First-Person Shooter.

I just got weapons implemented - they can have a Ammo or Mana resource system, primary and secondary weapons, and special effects for those “weapons”, such as a flashlight or possibly even a self-teleport (big if on the self-tele.) I’ve got a basic gun, the MK-1, which fires a standard bullet. I’m planning on adding a lot of content this time - my first (and last) two projects both were understandably criticized for a lack of content, and I don’t intend to continue making the same mistake multiple times.

A few issues:
-I have no prefs settings implemented, so you’re stuck with Inverted Y-axis look. :frowning:
-Textures are still very much WIPs, if present…but I’ve been experimenting with Normal Maps as you can see!
-Because of the player’s Bumped Diffuse shader, Stealth Fields (the wall devices with black particles that emit an orange glow) don’t affect you for the time being.
-No powerups, when you run out of ammo, go do something else.
-Bullets aren’t supposed to open doors, but they do. To be honest, I like it because it reminds me of Metroid Prime.

Anyways, GameJolt link is here, it’s going to stay on GJ until it’s closer to a release.

OK, fun but the inverted look just killed it for me

Some procedural level generation in Unity, figured I’d post something since I just broke the 1000th line milestone in the world generator script :sunglasses:

That reminds me slightly of Metroid Prime.

Can this procedural generator handle nodes that affect multiple floors (like, say, the reactor core of a starship)?

Features spanning multiple z-levels are critical to the gameplay, so yes, it will handle them eventually.

I’m working on a single player RPG kit that is aiming to be as similar rpg system as RuneScape, including custom editors to add and edit content etc, done quite a lot already. Will sell it cheap afterwards, working on it just because I enjoy working on that type of RPG systems anyways.

No pictures yet, will post a video in hopefully few days to show the progress.

(by the way, would you rather have pathfinding (point and click movement) or WASD movement incorporated with the RuneScape-style RPG system?)

Working on https://sites.google.com/site/sandbeachmarbles/media, a “new” concept of marble racing game.

BETA is ready if you have Android

had this strange idea for a game a couple years ago, so I decided to actually make it yesterday.

yep, that thread is there  but kepp continue… http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/70252-What-Are-You-Working-On
