I was wondering what format should I be using for any graphics I design the GUI in. is there a standard recommended format. I will Be using NGUI if that makes any difference. Thanks for any insight guys, I cannot seem to find the answer to this online.
Uncompressed. Generally 32-bit, or maybe 16-bit in some cases (i.e. no gradients).

Thank you. Dose it matter if its .jpeg, .png .gif graphics im using?
Yes; never use .jpg since it’s lossy-compressed. Also don’t use .gif since it’s indexed color with 256 colors max. Use .psd ideally, so you can keep layers and so on. Otherwise something non-lossy and non-indexed like .png.
