I deleted the temporary files (%tmp%) and rebooted. A simple restart was not enough.
Now it’s back.
Hm, have tried sign out and back into your account? Sometimes the Unity ID expires and you have to log in again to make it work.
I’m adding the incident here so you can see it got resolved:
It’s still blocked on Mac. Any idea about what I should delete regarding the Hub’s files such as a temp equivalent folder, cache, anything?
What could I eventually safely delete at “/Users/…/Library/Application Support/UnityHub” or at “/Users/…/Library/Caches/com.unity3d.unityhub.ShipIt”?
I logged off, rebooted, still not having the license back.
In my Organization’s section, I have a Unity Teams Basic with three seats, one assigned.
I have no message that tells me something is deactivated or revoked. That’s only on my end of the setup.
I just uninstalled the Hub and installed an older version (3.4.1).
Still locked.
The problem seems to have been solved within the last hour.
The message is gone and I can launch the editor again. Thanks.
I’ve had a problem that may be related.
Since the last hub update my firewall has been complaining saying the server connections used by the unity package manager and licensing may have been compromised. I’ve reinstalled etc etc the unuty hub and different editor versions.
The firewall and system security software is exactly the same as have worked fine previously as I reinstalled the pc os via an image before adding unity.
This might suggest the unity hub has been compromised.
It might be worth checking your system has not been compromised.
deletes temporary files and restarts the PC. It worked for me
Restarting the laptop also fixed it for me, not sure if it was the actual restart that fixed it, or if the restart just coincided with the time the issue was fixed.
Wait so not only me got that yesterday? I reinstalled Unity Hub and then nothing happened.
We got Unity a day apart from each other XD

Yeah, I’m starting to think these were auto generated by Unity during that period.
I’ve been on Pro → Plus and back to Pro for the last decade+ and the first time I actually used a personal license is this previous October.
If I remember correctly, near that time was the first time Unity accused us of mixing license tiers and I remember telling them to disable our personal licenses, since we didn’t use them and didn’t even know we had before them accusing us, but they brushed me off.
Thanks stigmamax. Not a fix this side though. After doing a fresh install of the OS I did a full image backup. I regulary restore early images and then update them to current. This was a fresh install from the image. This was repeated twice in case it is a virus etc. I even tried unistalling unity and all it’s folders with Revoo which is a great uninstall utility that does a great job. Same problems occuring. Will probably just try and find an older version of the hub and see if that has the same problem.
Thanks again
Revo is good !
Very good bit of kit. Not had it long but up to now totally recommendable.
