In this thread, I post updates on the development to serve as insights on the workings of the toolkit for potential collaborators who might have an interest in it.
Starting with the most basic component. The Actor module handles all of the Scene Objects that are Characters, either Playable or Non-Playable. The picture below shows what its editor looks like:
Which is self-explanatory. The editor shows all of the Characters in a neat list when first initialized.Upon selecting a Character profile, the editor lists out its individual settings for that particular Character as shown below:
The settings has the common game mechanics seen in most games like Health and Experience. In addition, it also sets Attributes and Skills (More on those later…). Right now, it’s missing other settings like Initial Inventory and Equipment and such.
